Job overview
The PYP Visual Arts Teacher must be a qualified and experienced teacher willing to join a dynamic team. Expected to teach and lead the implementation of the PYP Visual Arts programme in accordance with RAK Academy's Guiding Statements and IB mission.
Criteria:
- Genuine interest in learning, children and art
- Bachelor Degree in Education related to art, teaching qualifications, Masters an advantage
- Prior experience as a PYP teacher (preferred)
- Recent IB professional development in PYP (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, also in Arabic would be an advantage
- Strong pedagogical skills, being able to lead by example
- Experience working in multicultural and multilingual environments
- Proven problem-solving and creative thinking skills

This curriculum follows the standards set by the United Kingdom and ensures that students receive a well-rounded education in line with international benchmarks.
In addition to the UK curriculum, we are proud to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) at our Khuzam branch. The IB consists of two programs: The Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). These internationally recognised programs encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a holistic approach to education, empowering students to become lifelong learners and global citizens.
