We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working teacher to join our ICT/Computing department. This post is suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher wishing to join a team of specialists who ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement.
At KS3 pupils follow a specially designed course which introduces students to a range of ICT and computing skills. In KS4 students study either Cambridge Nationals in Creative iMedia or Cambridge Nationals in Information Technologies 2017 and also have the option to study Computer Science. Post 16 studies are available in Cambridge Technicals Level 3 IT and Creative Media Production.
University Academy Holbeach is an oversubscribed school in a rural location and serves the local community and the surrounding villages. The school site has recently been redeveloped and enjoys state of the art facilities including teaching walls. Staff and pupils enjoy the use of i-pads to enhance the curriculum.
Teachers wishing to embark upon further post graduate study as part of their CPD will be supported through our sponsor the University of Lincoln.
The school was recently rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (January 2016).
