About the Department:  

• KS3 – Each year students cover a varied selection of Computer Science topics, with elements of programming based on Scratch, Python programming topics and digital literacy (projects largely from www.teach-ict.com) 

• Computer Science/Creative Technology/Digital Literacy/e-Safety  

• KS4 – GCSE ICT (Edexcel) and GSCE Computing (OCR) 

• Computer systems and programming/practical investigation/programming project  

• GCSE ICT – Living in a digital world/using digital tools  

• KS5 – A Level Computing (OCR)  

• A Level computer science (OCR) – students learn to program in Python and Pascal using Lazarus and acquire skills which are relevant for both industry and higher education.
