Job overview

Doha Academy is looking to recruit an ambitious individual to support the school’s ICT curriculum and assessment development. Supporting across the group of schools, the successful candidate will be expected to: 

  • Develop a group-wide strategy for the development of ICT integration into the wider curriculum, exploring software solutions that will enhance learning and supporting related staff development in both the primary and secondary sections of the schools;
  • Work with the SLT to develop the use of standardized assessments in the school, to include the analysis of resulting data;
  • Teach a reduced timetable of ICT at either the Primary or Secondary level, in order to model good practice.

 

As a British curriculum school, candidates will be required to demonstrate:

  • Experience working with the National Curriculum in England, and ideally English-medium international curricula (e.g. Cambridge, Pearson etc.);
  • Data intelligence – the ability to work with different forms of data and present it to different audiences;
  • A high level of communication skills and ability to deliver training workshops;

 

Candidates must be first language English speakers who possess an ICT-related degree and teaching qualification as a minimum.
