ICT PPA Primary Teacher

Hillingdon

£130 - £145 per day  PAYE

September – July 2022

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is holding QTS and recent teaching experience across primary.

The role

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a full time, ICT PPA teacher to help provide relief for teachers who require time to plan lessons. The ICT PPA Teacher will be required to cover lessons across Early Years up until Year 6 and therefore will have to feel comfortable delivering lessons to these year groups.  This role is scheduled to start in October 2021 and will continue to the end of this academic year, July 2022. This would be a fabulous opportunity for an ECT, who wishes to strengthen their behaviour management as well as deliver lessons that have already been planned before completing their NQT year. Alternatively, this role would be ideal for an experienced teacher who wishes to have a break from planning and simply wish to enjoy delivering lessons to a lovely bunch of students. The children overall are well behaved, but strong behavioural management skills are ideal to help manage the novelty of having a new ICT PPA Teacher within the school.

The school

The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and we have received extremely positive feedback from staff who have worked there before. A lovely 3 form entry school with many opportunities to progress within the school with the regular CPD courses, whereby the leadership wish to better each member of staff which will ultimately transfer onto the pupils’ education. The school is an open-minded and understanding school who values the support from parents and families. Working together with the staff and families will ensure the children are ready to meet the demands of the fast-moving world alongside keeping the magic of childhood.

Requirements

To be considered for the ICT PPA Teacher, you must:

• Hold QTS

• Have recent experience teaching Primary from EYFS-KS2

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Subject knowledge in ICT

• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)

• Deliver lessons in a stimulating and enthusiastic manner

Smart Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
