An excellent opportunity has arisen at our school in Wokingham that caters for, educates and nurtures children with SEMH.

About Northern House School (Wokingham)

We educate and care for primary and secondary children with profound and complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We accept children from key stage 2 to key stage 4.

The school is currently in special measures so the opportunity exists for a skilled practitioner to make a real difference and work with the management team to make the rapid improvements necessary.

The successful candidate will be:

• A qualified and effective classroom teacher with an ability to teach Primary and Secondary Pupils, focusing on KS2-KS4

• Committed to, and have a passion for, the teaching of ICT

• Committed to safeguarding children

• Well-organised and able to communicate effectively

• Committed to inclusion

• Able to demonstrate high levels of energy

• Creative and inspirational

• Willing to share ideas and expertise
