The role

The Centre for Academic Language and Development has a vacancy for an International Foundation Programme (IFP) Subject Tutor (Economics, Finance and Management) on the IFP Social Sciences and Law Pathway.

This position offers the successful applicant a fantastic opportunity to join the Centre’s large IFP team and contribute to the continued development the University of Bristol IFP as a world-class provision that attracts diverse, high-quality students and provides them with an excellent educational experience.

What will you be doing?

As a Subject tutor, you will contribute to the delivery of the Centre’s growing Level 3 provision of units on the IFP Social Sciences and Law Pathway. You will be expected to teach on both Foundations of Management and Foundations of Finance and Economics. As well as teaching, you will be expected to design and deliver materials in line with Intended Learning Outcomes to ensure that they enable students to succeed not only on the IFP, but also on their chosen undergraduate programme at the University. You will also be allocated time for scholarship and CPD.

This will be a term-time only appointment working 5 days a week for 33 weeks and appointed on a fractional 0.75 contract paid pro rata.
