Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Mathematics within the International Baccalaureate and IGCSE programmes.

Teacherhorizons connects teachers with opportunities at top international schools. Teachers use it to find jobs, explore schools overseas and gain free support from education experts. In the past four years Teacherhorizons have placed a number of teachers at Northlands. Feedback has been resoundingly positive.

“I had met my colleagues and suspected that everyone was going to be supportive, kind, professional and I was going to improve as a professional. I just didn’t know how much.” (a teacher who started at Northlands last year).
Northlands School.

Northlands School is one of Argentina's most prestigious bilingual schools and has been an IB World School since 1995. Applicants should have good interpersonal skills and a disposition towards teamwork. We are also seeking someone who buys into the school's mission, teaching philosophy and shows commitment towards the Personal and Social Education programme embedded in the school curriculum.

A significant percentage of the teachers and students are local, so expect a greater level of immersion into the local culture than at some other international schools. Speaking Spanish is an advantage although teachers who are eager to learn will also fit in well at the school.
