Primary Location: Southgate Campus but may be required to work at any one of our main campus.

Barnet and Southgate College is seeking a positive, proactive, and confident person to join our busy college in the role of ILR support officer. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person who wants to develop a career in the FE data environment.  The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy data driven environment, preferably within further education and confident working with large volumes of data and ensuring compliance with rules. 

 You will be highly organised, self-confident, unflappable, flexible and used to working in highly pressurised environments. You will possess excellent communication, and interpersonal skills as well as excellent IT skills. You will be adept at multitasking and working with conflicting deadlines. You must be highly proficient with the use of Microsoft excel.  

 The successful individual will work as part of the Funding and Data team and required to work with MIS colleagues and key internal stakeholders to ensure our data meets regulatory requirements and stands up to both external and internal scrutiny. 

 You will play an active role within the Funding and data team and report to the Funding and Data Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for funding returns, under the direction of the funding and data co-ordinator, you must have a keen eye for detail, and keep up to date with sector rules and regulations.

You will work directly with curriculum areas, and internal stakeholders to ensure the data process and procedures are carried out in accordance with regulatory, audit requirements.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS application.
