Coloma Convent Girls’ School in Shirley is recognised as one of the top non-selective secondary schools in the country. We are consistently oversubscribed and have received four ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted and four ‘Outstanding’ Diocesan reports and ‘World Class Schools’ status (September 2017). Coloma achieved the accolade of ‘Best School in Croydon’ in the Real Schools Guide in 2018. 

The Head teacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, flexible, and enthusiastic Inclusion Co-ordinator to lead our school’s Inclusion Provision, taking responsibility for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, English as an additional language and those eligible for pupil premium. The successful candidate will manage our Learning Support Department and fulfil the key responsibilities of a SENDCO as outlined in the SEND Code of Practice. 

Coloma is very proud of its history of academic achievement; this is due to hard work, focus and dedication to Coloma’s ethos shown by pupils and staff alike. In 2018 we achieved remarkable exam results with 0.89 Progress 8 at GCSE and ALPs 2 at ‘A’ Level.
