Freebrough Academy is seeking to appoint an Inclusion Coordinator.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the Inclusion Team, ensuring that students learning and achievement needs are met, you will lead on all aspects of Inclusion including EAL, Gifted and Talented and will contribute to the strategic development of the Academy by implementing whole academy initiatives, monitoring and reporting on key outcomes.

Freebrough Academy is part of Northern Education Trust, a nationally recognised and trusted academy sponsor with vast experience of school improvement, and specialised experience in all aspects of education. Trustees are committed to working with local authorities, other agencies and industry to improve the lives and life chances of young people. I am delighted and proud to be leading Freebrough Academy. Our aim is to ensure that every child in our school feels safe, valued and respected.

Our Academy has had a long tradition of working in partnership with parents to ensure our pupils have the skills, dispositions and values they will need to lead happy and fulfilling lives. We all know that examination results are important, however, here at Freebrough we also place a high priority on instilling in our pupils dispositions such as resilience, independence and pride in themselves and in everything they do. We seek to develop the whole person forming within them a strong moral compass and good character.

In the short time I have been with Freebrough I have been hugely impressed by how hard working and committed the staff are here. There is a steely determination to do the very best for our students, whether that be in a teaching or supporting role, and a willingness to do what is needed to ensure we are all the best we can possibly be.
