Cedar Mount Academy is seeking to recruit an Inclusion Manager.
Purpose of the Job:
The primary purpose of the post is to manage the Academy’s internal provision for students across Key Stage 3 and 4 who have been removed from lessons for a variety of reasons. The successful candidate will work with students to assist in tackling underlying problems which cause their challenging behaviours, placing them at risk or exclusion.
- To administer and supervise the Inclusion Room and co-ordinate work from relevant subject areas.
- To liaise with subject teachers on schemes of work in order to collate appropriate resources for pupils to use within the unit.
- To maintain a database of pupils within the Unit and report on pupils’ behaviour/progress to the pastoral team
Please note: the successful candidate will often be the sole supervisor within the room, so the ability to work alone is essential.
