We are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated and inspirational individual to provide personal, social, and behavioural support to the young people at our academy. The successful candidate will contribute to identifying and removing barriers to learning for students both inside and outside of school, to ultimately enable them to achieve their full potential.  They will work alongside the academy’s superb pastoral team in delivering outstanding high-quality support and guidance for students in all aspects of school life.  The role also involves additional hours to cover the Academy Alternative Provision, which is staffed until 5.00pm.  These hours will be paid on an overtime basis as and when required.

This is an exciting time for our new school as we develop a culture of high expectations focused on delivering outstanding achievement for all of our students. 2019 (the last series of actual exams) delivered the best ever GCSE results for the school and a recent OFSTED inspection upgraded the academy in every category.  Working in close partnership with the Redhill Academy Trust, we are also a member of The Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region.  Park Vale became an academy, sponsored by The Redhill Academy Trust, on 1 September 2016.

For further details regarding this post or to request an application form please contact Human Resources, at hr@redhillacademytrust.org.uk or alternatively please visit our website at www.parkvaleacademy.org.uk.  If you would like an informal discussion about the role please contact Stephanie Lovett (Assistant Head) at the school.
