Are you able to support the welfare and progress of students in their learning, behaviour and transitions? This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead on pastoral support to students, provide advice and guidance and implement agreed plans to encourage learning and overcome barriers to learning. You will also be responsible for the day to day line management of the pastoral staff. Occasional home visits will be required.
37 hours a week, term time only plus 5 training days. Band 8 SCP 22-25 £21,074-£23,111. Actual salary £17,986-£19,724. Holidays are not allowed in term time.
Our ambitious school is based in the easily accessible market town of Thirsk which lies very close to the A1(M), A19 and mainline rail links, between two beautiful National Parks.
