37 hours per week - Term Time Only, plus one week

We now require an Inclusion Mentor to be part of our outstanding Inclusion Team who can help drive the school forward to its next stage of development.

 

This is a non-teaching post dedicated to support our students and ensure that they thrive at school through tailored interventions. You will have a flexible skill set, a sense of commitment to support young people combined with patience and a sense of empathy.

 

The core job purpose is outlined below.

 

JOB PURPOSE

 1.      Provide the first line of support, guidance and intervention for a student's wellbeing and SEMH support within the Inclusion Team.

2.      Support at individual student and year team level the whole school inclusion agenda and associated quality assurance and self-review processes.

3.      To write and contribute to schemes of work around SEMH issues, including contextual issues facing young people.

4.      Ensure that all safeguarding welfare and concerns are reported and recorded on CPOMS as per our Safeguarding Policy.

5.      To provide in class support, deliver academic and SEMH intervention groups and one-to-one intervention to a variety of students as needed.

6.      To ensure teaching staff are aware of personalised strategies and plans to engage all students within their learning
