Horbury Academy is seeking to appoint an Inclusion Mentor. If you have the passion and commitment with a desire to support some of our most hard to reach students to achieve and remain in the mainstream academy setting, we would love to hear from you and what you can bring to the role at the academy. Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate resilience and the ability to manage challenging student behaviours.
You will work under the direction of the Inclusion Coordinator to deliver small group work and interventions for target groups of students who are vulnerable and/or hard to reach, working on personalised timetables. You will be monitoring student progress and setting weekly targets for improvement, reporting any concerns to the Inclusion Coordinator.
