Inclusion Officer – Student Services

Dates:      Job start September 2021, or earlier if possible 

Salary:     £21,083 to £23,887 per annum 

Location:   South London

Contract type: Part time 4 days per week, term time only 

Contract term:  Fixed term, one year in first instance   

Southwark Inclusive Learning Service (SILS)

SILS is an 11-16 alternative provision for students who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of exclusion from a mainstream school.   SILS is a ‘Good School’ (Ofsted 2018); and our success is rooted in strong supportive relationships between students, staff and parents.       

The role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to act as lead professional for admissions, re-integration and student welfare.  

The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate our students, many of whom have additional needs.  The candidate will also need to have a track record of effective work with professionals and families.
