WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Broadoak School is seeking to appoint an Inclusion Officer to join a very talented and dedicated team of staff, who are determined to provide the best quality teaching and support for every pupil, and who are committed to maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and co-ordinating the day-to-day function and development of the school Inclusion provision

• To work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher responsible for Behaviour and Welfare in supporting all aspects of pupil behaviour, attendance and inclusion providing targeted support to individuals and groups of pupils, addressing the needs of children who require help to overcome barriers to learning and implementing action plans to maximise achievement and progress.

• To support the further development of positive home school relationships through the effective communication with parents and carers and external agencies.


The post holder will be expected to support all aspects of pupil attendance and inclusion providing specific targeted support to vulnerable pupils or more general support to wider cohorts of pupils.  To support the further development of positive home school relationships through the effective communication with parents and carers.
