The de Ferrers Trust is a Multi Academy Trust comprising three Secondary Academies and four Primary Academies, currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

The Role

We offer an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the educational support team.

Working under the guidance of the Academy SENCo and Alternative Provision Teacher, you will support the teaching and management of students, both in mainstream and alternative provision, to ensure access the curriculum is maintained by removing barriers to learning. You will also provide teaching support in the classroom in accordance to specific work programmes designed and supervised by individual teachers.

Your professional approach will be complemented a can-do attitude and a good understanding of areas of learning and social/emotional needs of students.

The ideal candidate should possess NVQ level 2 or above for Teaching Assistant.

The Pingle Academy is an 11-19 co-educational, comprehensive school, became an academy in May 2017 and joined The de Ferrers Trust. Our over subscribed academy is the academy of choice in the local area and enjoys an excellent local reputation.
