We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Inclusion Manager to lead on learning support for our cross-college learners with SEN. You will ensure high quality curriculum provision and effective teaching and learning for our mainstream students on the SEN register.

This role is both exciting and demanding. Due to the diverse nature of the young people we support and the range and complexity of needs, no two days are ever the same.  The successful candidate will be a strong leader with resilience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and significant experience in the field of SEN; with a proven track record of raising the attainment of young people with SEN.

The Inclusion Support Manager will have operational responsibility for SEN support.  In addition, they will collate and submit evidence for statutory assessment, complete high needs funding applications required to secure additional support for post-16 learners, as well as regularly communicate and collaborate with teaching, support and pastoral staff.   Moreover, regular engagement with Local Authorities will take place.  Previous experience of working with 6th form or post 16 students would be advantageous, as would be previous experience of negotiating and communicating with Local Education Authorities.
