Vision for Education is looking to appoint an Inclusion Support Worker to join our successful supply team working in an Alternative setting.  This is a long-term role, which will commence immediately, with the potential to become a permanent post after 12 weeks (this cannot be guaranteed, dependant on client feedback and the role).

Recruiting for an Alternative Setting based in Kirklees have a rare requirement for an Inclusion Support Worker to join their outstanding team.

The role

Our ideal Inclusion Support worker will have experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a similar setting or within a residential / Care setting or PRU. We are looking for a motivated and committed Inclusion Support worker to join an already settled team who is flexible and adaptable to be able to move around the School and fit in well within the Team. You must be resilient and open minded and be prepared to work in a setting where 2 days are never the same.

The school

The Alternative setting we are currently working with cater for the needs of students from KS2 – KS5 who have been assessed for an EHCP. The majority of students have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs however some may display other difficulties for example Autism / ADHD.

Requirements

To be considered for the Inclusion Support Worker position, you will:

Have experience of working in a similar environment - vital for this role!

Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Team teach is essential however Vision for Education will offer this training free of charge if you haven’t got the qualification.
