Peacehaven Heights Primary School & Nursery is situated on the coast about 6 miles east of Brighton and is one of three primary schools in the area that are all PFI schools. This rapidly improving school currently has an Interim Executive Board (IEB) in place to provide expertise, support and capacity to the school.
Peacehaven Heights is larger than average with a Nursery in house. It is a split site school and is two form entry. The school is very popular, currently on roll, there are approximately 380 pupils, including Nursery. Our pupils are delightful, behave well and are excited about their learning.
The Headteacher and IEB are looking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant to work Monday - Friday 8.30-3.15pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break) and to be part of our committed, professional team. The successful candidate will ideally hold a relevant qualification or be working towards one, have experience of working with children and be sensitive towards the needs of the children and their families. Your starting salary will be subject to pro rata as the above position is part-time, term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Point-based Immigration System.
