Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton invites applications for the position of Information Literacy Consultant, commencing at the beginning of the 2020 academic year.
This is a full-time, continuing position, based in Rockhampton, and focused on improving student learning outcomes through highly effective utilisation of library and information technology resources. The Information Literacy Consultant will provide on-going leadership, support and advice to school leaders, library staff, library coordinators and teachers, and will be a collaborative member of the Catholic Education Curriculum Support Team. The role will involve direct engagement with schools across the various regions of the Diocese, so some travel will be necessary.
The successful applicant for this position will participate actively in the faith life of their parish, have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education, and have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
