Required ASAP. 

We are looking for a highly competent, well organised person to maintain and develop our Information Management System (SIMS), maintaining accurate and relevant information.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for the daily management of cover arrangements for absent teachers, including deploying cover supervisors.    


Desirable skills:

• Experience of working in a school environment.

• A good working knowledge of SIMS software at an administrative level.

• Ability to present documentation to a high standard using Word and Excel.

• Proven analytical skills


Salary:

Scale 7 Point 19 (19-24)

£23,983.99 per annum (actual gross salary per annum)

Salary progression based on annual performance management reviews


Hours:

37 hours per week  - Term time plus 3 weeks to be worked in August.

Monday to Thursday - 07:30 – 15:30

Friday 07:30 – 15:00

About Anglo European School

Anglo European School is a 11-19, co-educational comprehensive school situated in Ingatestone, Essex. It has approximately 1,415 students.

The school was opened in 1973 after the closure of a secondary modern school led locals to campaign to keep the school open and the Local Authority, Essex, decided to establish a school with a “European Dimension”.

Anglo European School serves local needs but also draw students from across Essex and parts of London. In 1977 it became the first UK state school to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma and in 1995 the first comprehensive school to become a specialist Language college. In 2005 the school established the first co-headship model in a state secondary school.

As a centre of excellence for language learning, the school offers Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish as well as English as an Additional Language and Latin.  Up until age 16 all students study two languages other than English.

In the sixth form, students must study one language. They have a choice of A-levels or an opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma. There is also the chance to study selected parts of the IB Diploma with A-levels. In addition, the International Baccalaureate Career Programme provides an internationally recognised vocational qualification.
