Instructor: Mechanical Engineering
To instruct learners and provide technical support, prepare materials as required in the relevant workshops
Rate of Pay: Scale 5, Points 25-28, £23,825 - £25,850 per annum.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College)
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline (eg. NVQ or equivalent) and have relevant experience with knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. Candidates must hold a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate to level 2. A First Aid certificate would be advantageous, although training will be provided.

Grwp Colegau NPTC Group of Colleges (normally abbreviated to NPTC Group) is a large body of further education colleges located across Neath, Port Talbot and Powys, Wales. The college was first established in 2013, following a merger of two other further education colleges in the local area. As a result, NPTC Group is able to boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities. The college takes on learners from an extremely economically diverse area, and as such offers a broad range of full and part-time courses in order to accommodate for a range of people.

Owing to its size, NPTC Group is able to offer a huge range of different courses for a variety of learners. This includes a number of courses aimed at younger school-leavers aged 16-18, who make up a large proportion of the full-time students at the college, but also a series of vocational and professional qualifications, as well as foundation degrees. In addition to this, the college also has on offer a number of higher education BAs and BScs.
