Musiqaa is an academy within Doha College that offers students one-to-one instrumental music tuition. The academy comprises a team of seven members teaching instruments including piano, strings, brass, woodwind, guitar and drums and is currently presenting students for examination to the ABRSM Board. Musiqaa is also the Representative for the associated Board of the Royal School of Music in Qatar.
We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Brass Specialist Teacher to join us from September 2019. As an Instrumental Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching brass instruments to students of Doha College as well as the wider community across two campuses within Doha. It will also be your responsibility to further develop brass groups and ensembles.
To be succesful, you will have a degree in music/brass instrument and ideally a teaching qualification. We will expect you to be a highly motivated and successful practitioner, who is willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the academy and college.
