St Mary's School, Warwick | P-6

St Mary’s, Warwick, is a Catholic Primary School catering for 320 students from Years P-6. The School is seeking an experienced and qualified music tutor, in a variety of instruments to facilitate the instrumental music program at St Mary's.

Instrumental Music Tutors have direct contractual and billing arrangements with families and the School. 

The applicant must have expertise in either Piano, Flute, Violin, Guitar, Clarinet, Drums with the capacity to teach all. The position commences at the start of Term 1, 2023.     

  • up to 15.2 hours per week
  • will include private and group teaching
  • may include ensemble work

The ideal applicant will have

  • suitable instrumental qualifications
  • demonstrated teacher experience with individuals and small groups
  • ability to engage students 8 - 12 years old
  • capacity to teach beginners and advanced students
  • willingness to work within the school timetable
  • passion and enthusiasm for teaching music to students
  • a current Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain prior to commencement
