Cooloola Christian College is a mixed, non-selective, independent, Christian all-through school in Queensland, serving students from Prep to Year 12. The school is situated in Gympie, with approximately 420 students.

Cooloola Christian College was established in 1992, then with two members of staff and 55 pupils. It has been on its present site since 1998, situated over 10 hectares of land. The school community is committed to serving others in the local and wider community and students are encouraged reach their full academic potential.

Cooloola Christian College boasts modern learning facilities, including large, air-conditioned classrooms, science laboratories, a learning hub, computer suites, sports courts, playgrounds and specialist rooms for music, drama, art and home economics. 

Curriculum

The College offers a broad and balanced learning curriculum throughout the years, aimed to develop pupils as passionate learners and critical and creative thinkers, who are well-equipped at making decisions and working both independently and in a group. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are also on offer, aimed to challenge pupils to seek new experiences beyond their comfort zones. These include camps, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and writing workshops. A strong emphasis is also placed on outdoor education, and from Year 8 - students experience climbing, first aid, survival skills and mountain biking.
