Group of International Schools - GIS is seeking to appoint an Interim Director/Consultant to promote and supervise the start-up of The International School of São Paulo .
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of outstanding educational leadership, preferably with experience in IB schools or Brazilian schools, and ideally schools with an international intake.

The School
The holding named Group of International Schools (GIS), based on the Funders’ solid experience in international education, aims to found and develop a group of international schools designed to offer premium Education which inspires 21st century learning and intercultural understanding.
Their goal is to provide expatriate and local families with an international education that is broad, balanced and challenging. Through the creative use of technology and authentic, inquiry-based learning experiences, the GIS schools empower their students to be responsible life-long learners who can achieve their full potential and contribute to an ever-changing world.
GIS São Paulo opened in February 2019 to serve as an international school with a reasonable fee structure offering a premium education. The new school envisioned in this academic plan will offer the IB- Primary Years Programme curriculum, while the Early Years department is inspired by the Reggio Children approach. https://www.issaopaulo.com.br
Person Specification
• A proven track record of overall school Leadership and of the implementation of a strategic plan in a successful educational context;
• Prior experience and a strong interest and capability to work with the Board of Directors to plan marketing campaigns in a Brazilian/International context, and to supervise and conduct their operational implementation;
• Prior experience in a similar consultancy role or educational leadership as a senior executive;
• A thorough understanding of the IB Programmes and strong commitment to academic excellence;
• A profound knowledge of international education and global best practices in education.
• Collaborative leadership style, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage a range of audiences
• Flexible and adaptable to change, growth and development;
• Hard-working, motivated and a strong role model;
Remuneration Package
3- 6 month consultancy contract with possibility of renewal.
