About our school

NAS Nantong opens in September 2019 and provides a state of the art teaching and learning environment to up to 1728 students. The unique international learning experience at NAS Nantong will offer students aged 6 – 18 years old the best of eastern and western education resources and philosophies. The bilingual curriculum will be based on the Jiangsu K-12 curriculum blended with globally respected international curriculum elements and teaching methods. Students will gain a solid foundation of Chinese culture, whilst equipping them with the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in an increasingly globalised world. The school is located in Nantong Sutong area, the campus covers an area of 71 acres, which can accommodate 1728 students and 864 boarders; providing the perfect environment for a well-rounded education.

About you

Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification and considerable teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for China region, including Criminal Check, Reference Letter of over two years' experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, etc.

Selection Process

The closing date for application is June 30th, 2022. Due to global travel restrictions, all interviews will be conducted via MS Teams or online video calls.  There will be three stages of interview, including a panel interview.

Providing a unique blended learning experience, NAS Nantong will offer students the best of eastern and western education resources and philosophies for students aged 6 - 18. The bilingual programme will be based on the Chinese K-12 curriculum blended with globally respected international teaching pedagogy and education resources. Students will experience a solid foundation of Chinese culture,whilst equipping them with the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in an increasingly globalised world.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, it shares resources and knowledge with 56 other schools around the world. The Global Campus will connect NAS Nantong students with other Nord Anglia Education schools based in 29 different countries worldwide. Students will be able to extend their international experience through opportunities to learn abroad, to connect with more than 64,000 students through the innovative online platform and to take advantage of exciting experiences and expeditions.
