As an International Tutor at BE you will teach highly motivated and ambitious students in one-to-one or small group classes. Our aim is to increase students’ academic performance in their current international school or help them prepare for entrance exams to overseas schools.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about their chosen specialism and want to convey that to their students. One-to-one or small group classes means classroom management is minimal and you can explore your subject in depth. It is expected that international tutors can teach ESL when required as well (Support will be provided)

Our arts teachers specialise in teaching English literature or ESL and other humanities subjects. Our science and maths tutors specialise in teaching one of the core science subjects and/or maths.

Alongside teaching responsibilities, you will be involved with BE’s continuing curriculum development, helping to create our own unique and engaging content. We have designed courses in everything from Early Modern English to Podcasts, Blogs, and 21st Century Journalism and run small group classes such as our BE Book Club and Science Club.
