A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Intervention Support Tutor within our Maths and English Department to further develop the delivery of high quality teaching across the vocational areas of the college and consolidate the progression made by learners accessing GCSE English.

Reaseheath College is one of the UK’s leading specialist land-based colleges. With over 2000 full-time students, we have an enviable setting amongst 330 hectares of farms, parklands, lake, woodland and sports facilities. So you won’t find a more inspiring place to teach. As one of the top 10% colleges in England for qualification success rates and progression into higher education or employment, you won’t find a bigger commitment to student achievement either.

If you share that commitment, we need you to help support us in developing a centralised and specialised Maths and English Department to raise the standards of these essential skills across the College. You will be required to provide varying intervention strategies to students requiring additional support, both in groups and on an individual basis, and also stretch and challenge activity in English.

You will possess a minimum of a Grade C in Maths and English and be able to demonstrate passion for your chosen subject.

In return, you can look forward to a great range of benefits including final salary pension scheme, free parking and the use of college facilities including our gym and Learning Resource Centre. As an Investor in People organisation, we also provide ongoing training and development opportunities within this supportive and friendly environment.

With an ambitious £35 million capital investment programme in place, there’s never been a better time to join Reaseheath College.
