Intervention / Transition  Class Teacher required to join a fantastic, friendly and supportive Independent Primary School based in North East Lincolnshire.

Tes is currently seeking an ambitious Intervention / Transition Class Teacher for a well-renowned and high achieving school seeking to expand its successful and friendly Schools Department.

The role will include teaching and coordinating the delivery of upper KS2 / lower KS3  across year groups 7 and 8. You will support the  SLT Members to enhance provision and will get the chance to get involved with exciting project work throughout the year. 

The role will be responsible for working with individual children or small groups and ensuring their learning needs are met and children make accelerated progress. You'll take responsibility for empowering learners, supporting positive behavior and progression.

You'll support leaners to make that transition into Secondary Education by building confidence through support, bridging gaps, supporting our learners / SEN learners achieve to the best of their ability.

The appointed candidate will benefit from working alongside a highly experienced department of practitioners, alongside support from a highly visible SLT team.

The school is seeking candidates that can inspire learners and bring the magic back into Education and would urge candidates with fresh ideas to get in touch!

The school expects:

  • a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • a relevant Degree or a related subject
  • experience of delivering upper KS2, pushing and engaging learners to progress within the subject
  • experience with Year 6 SAT's or experience bridging attainment gaps are advantageous
  • experience supporting student transitioning from Primary to Secondary education
