The Governors are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed person to join the staff of this popular, oversubscribed and successful school as an Interventions Teaching Assistant.
The post involves supporting teachers with their everyday work in the classroom and helping students with a variety of SEND who need additional support in order to complete tasks as well as working directly with students in supporting numeracy and literacy. Previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage but not essential.
JFK has been awarded an SSAT ‘Educational Outcomes Award’ for the second year running, in recognition of the 2015 GCSE exam results; for being in the top 20% of non-selective schools nationally in terms of average grades achieved by students. In addition, we have been invited to join ‘Leading Edge’, the national network reserved for high performing schools.
