Hours of work – between 8.15 – 4.30pm during examination period

We are seeking to recruit new Invigilators to work with our existing team to support the work of our Examinations Officer.

The invigilators main role is to maintain the integrity of examinations and ensure they are conducted in accordance with statutory rules and regulations.

Full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each examination period.  The examination period this year runs from 7 May – 26 June 2019.

This post would be suited to applicants who are able to work flexible hours between 8.15 and 4.30pm.

Sydenham High School, established in 1887, is an independent day school for girls from 4-18 with over 600 pupils. The school is part of The Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the largest independent school group in the UK. Sydenham High School is a mainstream, independent, all-through girls' school with sixth form, situated in Lewisham, south-east London. The school caters for over 750 students aged 4-18.

Sydenham High School was founded in 1887 by the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the leading group of independent girls’ schools in the UK. The Senior and Prep Schools have their own grounds located minutes apart and an 8 acre sportsground, used by all pupils, is a 20-minute drive from the school.
