Salary: Grade 4, scale point 19 to 23: £18,746 up to £21,268 pro-rata
Full Time (term time only) from September 2017
The postholder will supervise and coordinate the day to day function of the Academy’s Isolation Unit. This will include liaising with the pastoral team, ensuring students complete the classwork required to enable successful reintegration into mainstream classes, and preventing the recurrence of behaviour that might lead to further exclusion.
You should have strong communication skills, experience of working with children with challenging behaviour, preferably within an educational setting, and have the ability to promote positive behaviour change in pupils who experience social, emotional and behaviour difficulties.
