IT & Marketing Administrator (Apprenticeship)

About the role: Leigh Academies Trust are seeking an IT and Marketing Administrator (Apprentice) to join their experienced and vibrant team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, flexible and be able to work as part of a team.


We are looking for an individual with an ability to work and achieve results under pressure, communicate with great patience, work calmly in a busy open-plan environment, and someone who is confident to seek information from several sources before acting.​​​​​​​


The role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidates will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. Click here to read more about LAT Apprenticeships. 



Apprenticeship Summary

Working weeks: Monday - Friday, 52 weeks a year

Total hours per week: 37 hours per week (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship)

Apprenticeship duration: 12-18 months (approx)

Programme delivery type: All modules are delivered as a combination of online learning which can be completed at your place of work, classroom sessions and contrasting work placements in schools

Start date: October 2021

Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Apprenticeship standard: Business & Administration

Positions available: 1

Essential entry qualifications: GCSEs A* - C, Maths and English

Please note that a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths is essential for this opportunity. Applicants that do not have this can not be considered. 


Future prospects: This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising career within the wider business and administration remit. We endeavour to offer further employment following successful performance and completion of the Level 3 course with future opportunities to extend your training with a higher level apprenticeship programme. We offer in-house Continuing Professional Development and you’ll be part of a highly experienced and efficient office team – you’ll be learning from the very best!

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2021, our Trust will comprise 32 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 2,500 talented staff.
