Framlingham College is constantly evolving as it modernises and improves its access to IT services, in part through better use of information and technology. The College is committed to delivering the best IT to help the teachers and pupils so they get the most out of the IT Systems that we provide.

We are looking for a motivated IT Apprentice to join our busy IT Department. The successful candidate will be required to assist with a range of duties as allocated by the IT Manager. You will be expected to work under supervision and independently, preforming IT projects and carrying out tasks as they are assigned. The IT Apprentice will also be resolving routine IT issues and assisting the IT Team with day-to-day duties.  You will be providing support to other department members across both school sites as well as studying towards the Level 3 IT qualification. 

The role will be working 37.5 hours per week, as well as any study dates the course dictates. Core working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. 

This will be a fixed term contract for the 18-month duration of the apprenticeship. Rate of pay will be at least £7.05 (or national minimum wage, dependent on age).

Framlingham College is a boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3-18 which offers flexible and full boarding options.
