As part of the next phase of our Trust Growth strategy, we have an incredible opportunity to join our team.  We’re at an exciting time in the on-going development of IT function which supports our existing schools - consisting of Bolton St Catherine’s Academy, Canon Slade School, St James’s C of E High School and Bury Church of England High School, with expansion to include additional schools in the near future. The role sits at the Trust central office, working closely with the Trust IT Strategic Lead, and the IT Network Managers from across the schools in Trust.  

The person we are looking for will possess:

• A demonstrable record of success to date. 

• Effective communication skills with the ability to relate well to all stakeholders and external partners.

• Clear and accurate reporting skills with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines. 




You will have the experience, skills and capacity to: 

• Ensure that the IT and communication systems are operational and purposeful for the teaching, learning and management functions of all schools across the Trust.

• Ensure that maintenance and projects are delivered on time and within budgets. 

• Manage the team of Network IT Managers. 

• Contribute to the Trust’s IT development planning and systems design. 

• Actively contribute to the school’s IT vision. 

• Plan an effective training programme for the IT technicians and wider Academy Trust staff. 

• Liaise with support providers to ensure efficient resolution to problems.
