  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We require an enthusiastic and suitably qualified person for this role as IT Manager in our growing secondary college. The successful applicant will have a high level of organisational abilities and effective communication skills, with the ability to manage our IT Network, including monitoring, troubleshooting and providing solutions. The College offers a 1:1 laptop program to our 700 students. Please refer to the attached Role Statement for detailed information about this position, including technical knowledge and skills required. We anticipate that interview will take place on Monday 1 April. The ability to obtain a Positive Notice to Work with Children (Blue Card) is essential.


St Benedict’s College is a developing co-educational secondary college which opened in January 2013. In 2019 the College has in excess of 700 students. The College provides a connection to secondary education for the students of St Benedict’s Primary School and other students in the growing communities of Mango Hill, North Lakes, Griffin, and the wider region. It is master planned as a six stream Year 7 to Year 12 College. Our College is committed to providing high quality contemporary education in a Catholic Christian context, embracing the spirit of St Benedict. Position Tenure:   Fixed Term

Weeks Worked:  Up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   Fixed Term for 2019, with view to continuing

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   38 hours per week

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer - Level 5 $31.91-$33.47 per hour, Level 6 $34.53-$42.05 per hour

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
