IT Network Manager
WORKING PATTERN: 35 Hours per week (8:00am – 3:30 pm). Some flexibility in hours/ out of hours work may be required
SALARY: Grade 7 Points 32-36 £28,485 - £31,601

Are you an experienced and capable IT Network Manager looking to develop your career further? You will be located in Didsbury, (often voted as one of the most popular places to live in Manchester) only a short walk from the vibrant shops, bars and restaurants of Didsbury village. You will also have access to excellent transport links to Manchester city centre and surrounding areas.
As the school’s Network Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing efficient and effective ICT facilities within the school, ensuring that hardware and software systems fully support teaching and learning as well as administrative functions. You will also be responsible for creating a programme for developing both the school’s ICT network and our use of technology to ensure that the school’s ICT needs will be met in the future. In addition, you will also be responsible for managing our Onsite Engineer.
• Have significant experience of managing large mixed networks, preferably within an educational environment
• Hold both Server and Network qualifications
• Have an excellent knowledge of relevant ICT software and hardware
• Have experience of leading and managing staff effectively
• Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Be pro-active with the ability to act on your own initiative
• Have knowledge of the latest technology to ensure the school plans for the future.
