Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an IT Pupil Mentor to start in September 2022. The successful candidate will support the Computer Science department in the delivery of the curriculum and events offered by the department.
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of IT lessons (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to our Lower School classes. The Mentor would also be involved in delivering IT concepts, running activities, and IT clinics in Houses and within the school to help with IT skills.
We are seeking an individual who shares our dedication to promote STEM throughout the school. Strong administrative skills are vital in such a busy department, and the ability to work flexibly and take initiative will be important.
Remuneration will be £20,000 per annum. Accommodation may be available.

The latest improvements include a new classroom block for the Humanities, a stunning state-of-the-art Faculty of Social Sciences, fantastic Science facilities, a purpose-built Medical and Pastoral Centre and a major redevelopment of the Sports Centre.
The School’s location close to Rutland Water, in the heart of rural England, means our pupils and staff are able to enjoy the safety of living and working in a beautifully green campus just a few minutes’ walk from Oakham’s historic town centre and amenities.
