We currently have a fantastic opportunity within our IT team for an innovative and creative individual to be based at our Trust Office located at The Beacon School in Banstead. 


Your opportunity

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Technician working with a range of systems and users with varying skills. The successful applicant will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams.

Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Strong team player 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive “can-do” attitude

Salary: GLF Associate 3 £20,500 - £22,229

Hours of work: Full time - 36 hours a week, 52 weeks of the year

Start Date: ASAP
