Working 37 hours per week (52 weeks per year)
You will be required to work across all schools within the Sigma Trust
We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Technician to join our ICT team. In this role you will be pivotal in providing a professional, customer focussed service to all of our schools. An example of the main responsibilities include:
- Undertaking activities allocated via the Incident Management System
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of computer hardware, stand-alone machines and network
- Undertaking software maintenance and system monitoring
- Ensuring student e-safety where appropriate.
Candidates must have experience of working in an IT role and learning advanced functionality with the key Trust software e.g. Office and Outlook, Impero, SIMS, Help Desk System, Booking System, Follow-me-printing or similar systems.

The Sigma Trust is a local partnership of twelve academies in North East Essex, formally established in September 2016. The Trust currently consists of eight secondary schools, one primary, two junior schools and an infant and nursery school.
All schools are geographically close enough to provide the necessary support and challenge to take all academies to the next level.
