Job overview

We are looking for an IT Technician to help provide IT solutions based at one of our secondary schools in Epsom, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2017, with the potential for further supporting a local cluster of schools. The school enjoys a very positive working environment and many staff remain for lengthy and progressive careers.


The successful candidate will work as part of a busy team providing first and second line support. You will be working closely with the IT Manager to help provide solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT within one of our schools.


The varied nature of this role requires an intelligent and enthusiastic person who has the ability to solve issues logically independently and with the wider IT team where necessary.


This is a varied role, which offers a unique opportunity for career development within the IT department across the trust.


A friendly and professional manner is vital as this is a customer focused role where you will act as an advocate to the solutions and services provided by GLF Schools.

The role will suit IT/Computing A Level/BTEC Level 3 or higher graduates, as well as existing IT professionals in a similar role.


Working hours are 36 hours per week, 52 weeks with 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Salary: £18,968 - £22,125

Start date: ASAP
