We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed IT Technician who will play a key role in the IT Support Team, providing a wide range of support to staff and students across the Newbury Academy Trust schools. The successful applicant will be a team player with a positive approach, excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude. You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly Windows 7/10 and Office/Office 365, as well as a broad knowledge of computer hardware, basic familiarity of networking and a logical approach to problem-solving.

Duties will include: support and use of Windows 7 and 10; support and use of Mac OS X and iOS; support and use of Microsoft Office 2016; Office 365 administration; Active Directory administration; PC maintenance, upgrades, fault finding and repair; peripheral device fault finding, e.g. projectors and speakers; website and VLE maintenance and providing technical support and advice to staff and students.
