Job overview

Building on our success in Secondary teacher training, we are delighted to be expanding in to Primary, delivering the Postgraduate Primary Apprenticeship Programme starting in September 2019.

We are therefore looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced Primary specialist with the skills and drive to work with us in developing this addition to our provision.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of a new Primary programme drawing on our expertise in both initial teacher training and in the delivery of apprenticeships.

The ideal candidate will be able to show a clear understanding of the Primary curriculum, the skills and personal attributes needed to be a successful Primary teacher and the ability to embrace initiatives for bringing new entrants in to the profession.

It is likely that this person will be able to demonstrate a successful career in Primary teaching together with a commitment to the highest possible standards of teacher development.

If you feel that you are ready and able to make a significant contribution to the recruitment of high quality Primary teachers in our region, we would like to hear from you. The proposed interview date is Wednesday 13th February.  If you would like to have a preliminary conversation with the Director, please get in touch.
