
Job Coach

Hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday, all year round
Location: New Malden, KT3, however will need to be flexible to work across all College centres
Are you passionate about empowering and enabling students to get into the workplace?
We are looking for a personable, motivated professional to work closely with our students. The role requires a self-starter who is able to build excellent links with potential employers, while upskilling students with SEND or barriers to learning to prepare them for the workplace.
Job Coaches proactively support our students to develop job searching skills, to access work placements, to develop their English and maths skills in the classroom, and ultimately, to progress into paid employment.
If you have experience of working effectively with students with SEND or barriers to learning and you have the drive and tenacity to establish networks with external stakeholders, we would love to hear from you.
You will be required to actively support our students, who are looking for work to access work placements and progress into paid employment.
There are currently 6 sites in total for Orchard Hill College which provide both full and part-time courses to 16+ learners with severe/profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Our College centres are operating from New Malden, Carshalton, Wandsworth, Camberwell, Uxbridge and Sutton.
