William Ellis and Parliament Hill schools are looking for someone with drive and energy, a clear sense of purpose and a blend of analytical and creative thinking to launch and direct our Joint Business Unit. Both schools are single sex, non-denominational comprehensive schools with their own distinct identities, but sharing a common ethos of academic aspiration, strong personal development and inclusive practice. They are located on adjoining sites with a ‘campus’ feel and a joint co-education 6th form centre. Both schools are committed to working in partnership going forwards.
We can offer lively and engaged students, talented and dedicated staff, and a strong group of governors who will share your commitment to the value of high quality strategic and operational leadership in raising standards and provide you with the right blend of support and challenge. As a leader in both schools you will show adaptability and flexibility across a wide school brief and the ability to manage change effectively.
Both schools are active participants in the four-school LaSWAP sixth form consortium, are founder members of the Camden Learning partnership and play a full part in Camden’s vibrant community of schools. The schools are fully staffed with specialist teachers and support staff and a history of successful recruitment. The successful candidate will work closely with both head teachers, overseeing premises, catering, data, admin, finance and HR teams across the two schools.
Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a strong operational and/or financial background and a professional qualification such as CSBM. Previous experience of working within a secondary school setting is essential.
The successful applicant will also:
• Be able to deliver effective strategic and operational reporting to a variety of audiences, providing performance evaluation and forward planning.
• Demonstrate previous experience of delivering projects and initiatives to improve the quality of education, maximise revenue streams and deliver cost efficiencies.
• Be an individual of integrity supporting the aims and vision of the schools.
Potential candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the school websites, and arrange a face to face visit in advance of applying.
An application form and further information is available on the school’s website or on e-mail via email@example.com or please contact HR on 0207 482 9812.
The closing date and time for applications is 10am on Monday 27th September 2021. In order to respond to candidates as efficiently as possible we would like to encourage applications and correspondence via email to the above address. Interview dates to be confirmed.
