The school is a Roman Catholic school with Academy status in the trusteeship of the Fathers of The Oratory, London. There are 1380 pupils, 80 boys aged 7 to 10 in the Junior House, 920 boys aged 11 to 16 in the first to fifth forms and 380 girls and boys in the sixth form.
The Junior House offers a specialist musical education to boys from the age of seven within the maintained sector. Pupils have tuition in two musical instruments and some sing as choristers in the Schola. Junior House pupils are full members of The London Oratory School with access to the facilities of the senior school. In addition to their musical pursuits boys have opportunities to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
The school is looking for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach across Key Stage 2 and prepared to make a full contribution to the extra-curricular activities of the school.
